Overriding a Score

The Override Score button allows managers to correct any player's score, regardless of what the player submitted.

When to use it

Use Override Score when:

  • A player submitted the wrong score by mistake
  • A score needs to be corrected after a dispute or tournament ruling
  • You need to manually enter a score for a player who could not submit it themselves

How it works

  1. Click the red Override Score button on the embed.
  2. A dropdown appears: "Select the team slot to correct score...". Choose the slot whose score needs changing.

    Note

Only slots with a player assigned can be selected. If a slot is empty, the override will not proceed.

  3. A second dropdown appears: "How many points did you get?". Select the correct score (0–3).

  4. The embed updates immediately with the corrected score.

Error: no change recorded

If you see "Score was not changed (either it is the same or no one is set in that slot)", it means either:

  • The slot has no player assigned, or
  • You selected the same score that is already recorded

Select a different score value or assign a player to the slot first.
