Managing Roster Slots

The Change Lineup option in the Edit Schedule menu lets managers assign players to each slot. Each slot corresponds to a specific format in the league (e.g. Great League, EUIC Cup 1).

Assigning a player

Click ✏️ Edit Schedule on the lineup embed.
Select Change Lineup from the dropdown.
A second dropdown appears: "Select the team slot to fill...". Choose the slot you want to assign.
A Discord user selector appears: "Select the trainer...". Search for or mention the player.
The embed updates immediately to show the selected player in that slot.

Changing a player

Follow the same steps as assigning. Selecting a new user for a slot replaces whoever was previously there.

Moving a player between slots

If a player is already assigned to one slot and you assign them to a different slot:

Their previous slot is automatically cleared (set to ~not set~).
Their match time and score from the old slot are also cleared.
They appear in the new slot with no match time or score.

This prevents the same player from appearing in multiple slots simultaneously.

Clearing a slot

To remove a player from a slot without replacing them, you can assign the same slot again and leave the user selector blank, or contact the bot administrator if the interface does not permit an empty selection.

Tip

Slots are never automatically cleared between rounds — use the Reset Lineup action to wipe times and scores, or reassign slots manually for lineup changes.
